My first session...

Thanks to the LOVELY Stephanie my first official portrait session was a total success! Who knew my first session would turn out to be maternity photos! Not something I ever really considered but it went so well I am adding it to my list of shoots I'm available for. So if you know of anyone with a big, beautiful, pregnant belly, be sure to send them to my site. : )

GRAND OPENING!!!!!

Well after a few minor setbacks - TYM Photography Studio is OPEN AND READY FOR BUSINESS!!!! Just to show how eager I am to get rolling I am offering NO SITTING FEE charge to anyone who schedules a session before May 1st, 2009! That's a savings of $90! I'm available for children's portraits, senior portraits, maternity photos, infant portraits - you name it!

It's official!!!!

Well.... ALMOST! After YEARS of being told I should start my own photography business, I'm giving in and doing it. : ) I've been mainly focusing on my fine art photography, but after learning the HARD way that it doesn't pay the bills, I'm taking everyone's advice and starting my own portrait business focusing on children's portraiture. I've always been into photography - it's one of my biggest passions, but I've always been afraid of taking the final leap, you know the one where others can tell you that essentially you have absolutely NO talent. After a year and a half or so of being on various photo sharing sites and learning a GREAT deal from others, I finally feel that it's time to go for it. So, to those of you who been buggin me to start doing portraits - alright already, let's do this thing!

As I write this, my basement is being transformed in to my very own portrait studio. Woo hoo! I'll be available for location shoots as well. Can't wait to get started making my mark on the portrait photography world. : )

Thanks to all of you - you know who you are - who didn't give up pestering me about going for it, and thanks mostly to you, MOM!!! Without your never ending support, both financial and mental, I wouldn't be doing this. I hope I make you proud. : )
